Renata Castilho

“I breathe art without pretending to be a genius, but with the simplicity of portraying the beauty that surrounds me”. Born in 1960 in San Paulo, Italian citizen. She studied in Paris in the 70’s Lycee Rodin and in the 80’s she trained as a jewellery designer, model maker, volume and 3D modelling – Illustration and realisation. BJO FORMATION Paris. She develops self-taught talent in other areas such as: fashion illustration, graphic arts and object design, furniture, but it is painting where she met her most beloved expression and language. She has lived in several countries, such as France, USA, Italy and Brazil, and since 2021 she has moved to Tenerife, where she lives and works.
