Andrea De Souza Rocha

This Uruguayan feminist artist, with more than 20 years of national and international experience, shows us a multifaceted artistic production that alternates between painting and conceptual art, handling a versatility of languages, techniques and formats that “defines her, in her own words, so as not to rest on creative comforts”. Using art as a tool for self-knowledge, artivism, resistance, resilience, she tackles both personal and social themes, presenting stories about gender violence, romantic love, relationships in general, among other concepts.
