 He was born in Elche. As a recognized writer and journalist, he has obtained the most important awards in both activities, combining them with painting during his last fifteen years.

As a renowned sociologist and writer he has received, among others, the literary awards of the Anagrama publishing house, the Espasa de Ensayo or the “Topics of Today” for his books, and Miguel Delibes, Julio Camba or González Ruano for his articles.

He has published about twenty books between essay and narrative. Although his was a late vocation, his passion for painting led him to make thirty exhibitions in several cities in Spain, as well as in different cities around the world such as: Geneva, Cremona, Monaco, Genoa, Nice, Brussels, Macao, Shanghai, Innsbruck , Hong Kong, Miami or Beijing.

 From Art Professors, European collectors to personalities such as Norman Foster or Gordon Brown have acquired his works. In the 2016 call for the Reina Sofía International Painting Prize, five of his works were selected.
