Born in Plasencia (Cáceres). Self-taught, he began to paint and draw in childhood, attending since then museums and anthological exhibitions both in the national territory and beyond.
His pictorial and drawing work focuses on traditional techniques such as oil and pastel on different supports. The theme of the work of figurative character is based on a continuous dialogue with the History of Art, as well as other disciplines: Philosophy, Literature, Music, Film, Photography, ….
Currently, he lives and works in Plasencia, alternating his work with exhibitions both regionally and nationally.
Consider the artistic process as a dynamic triangle composed of the author, the work and the viewer. The author, although having a conscious and clear intention, is revealed as a transmitter of a whole inheritance of elements capable of recreating new objects that will in turn form others in all kinds of disciplines and directions. In this process,
the artistic artifact is activated by the participation of the spectator in a movement that generates unsuspected interpretations in the initial moment of production of said artifact and that becomes one of the mechanisms among others of a conjunctural nature, shapers of that concrete abstraction called art, emerged of the tension between the whole and the parts.
